Setting off from Port Lincoln and returning to Port Lincoln 5 days later, every day inbetween is a mystery as the Father and Son team head out in their 1994 Falcon Station Wagon battling outback Roads covering approx. 2,500kms in 5 days.
Peter comments “We all know someone who has been touched by this insidious disease, so it’s a privilege to be able to help in some way.” Noah adds “I’m excited to join Dad this year year because my mum had a pretty big skin cancer operation last year, so to know we are helping other families by doing this, makes it even better!”
“Since Grand Wash Auto was established in 2009, supporting Cancer research and affected families has been among our priorities” notes owner, Ali Sadiku adding “We have been long-time supporters of our local, Olivia Newton John Foundation for Cancer Research. Supporting a Grand Wash team member committed to the same cause, didn’t require a second thought.”
Mystery Box Rally is one of the largest community lead fundraising events for the Cancer Council in Australia having raised over $5.5 million in the last 10years.
