Grand Wash Auto is open 7 days a week.

Winter Trading Hours apply from 1 June – 30 August:

• 7 days 8am – 6pm

Outside of these dates our open hours are:

• Monday – Friday: 8am – 7pm
• Saturday & Sunday: 8am – 6pm

We are closed Christmas Day, New Years Day, Good Friday, and Easter Sunday. 

All other Public Holidays we close at 6pm.

Grand Wash Auto uses Micro Clean Cloths and Soft Cloth material (no brushes) that will not scratch the surface of your car or dull your clear coat finish. It is safer than hand washing. We entrust your car to a combination of computer-controlled sprays and 100% safe biodegradable shampoos to gently clean your car. Our ride through 50 metre tunnel will wash your car in 3 minutes, put a smile on your face and a sparkle on your car. We Are Green! Helping the environment is one of our main goals. We reclaim 100% of our water and all of our cleaning solutions are biodegradable and environmental friendly. We dispose of our waste by first removing most solids, and then directly disposing the remaining liquids into the sanitary sewer system where it is properly treated and processed.

Having a clean car obviously keeps your car looking newer longer. There are other, more technical reasons to keep your car clean. Dust, sand, and road grime are minuscule, abrasive particles. They attach themselves to your paint and finish. If your car is not washed on a regular basis, these particles can literally scratch the finish of your car. Some substances such as bird droppings or tree sap can even eat through your clear coat, leaving your car finish unprotected and vulnerable to additional wear and tear.

Absolutely. While we do have certain restrictions on what we can and can’t safely wash, we’ve worked hard at providing our customers with the best carwash technology available to give them a clean, dry, shiny vehicle, and the peace of mind that their vehicle will not be harmed in any way in the process. In fact, in many ways, washing your vehicle at Grand Wash Auto is safer than washing it by hand.

We are unable to wash vehicles with any of the following:

Non-standard accessories, including Tradesman/Ski/Bike racks, awnings, roof racks of any kind, top boxes, or canopies.

Headlight, spotlight, bonnet, and window protectors.

Vehicles with modifications, existing body damage, loose moulding, or clear coat and paint defects.

Vehicles with paint protection film, vinyl wraps, or signwriting.

Trucks with dual rear tyres, extended height, or large ladder racks.

Full-size vans or vehicles taller than 2.1 metres or wider than 2.7 metres.

Vehicles with wheels wider than 342mm.

Vehicles that sit 101mm or lower to the ground.

Open-bed pickup trucks containing debris, tools, loose materials, or fuel tanks.

Full-size Hummers or vehicles with permanently affixed tripod-style mirrors.

Soft tops that are damaged or faded.

If your vehicle has any of these features, it may not be suitable for our wash process. If you’re uncertain, please consult one of our attendants before entering the wash.

Any vehicle with the following features is washed at the owner’s own risk:

Previous damage, such as loose moulding, emblems, blistered, peeling, or faded paint, pinstriping, wrap signage, etc.

Damaged or faded soft tops.

Non-standard accessories, including bug shields, bonnet protectors, or headlight and window protectors.

Objects on antennas (e.g. balls, flags, etc.).

Cracked or damaged windshields.

Power antennas that won’t lower.

Tradesman, ski, and bike racks, including side/rear-mounted awnings.

Racing fins, spoilers, or other aftermarket modifications.

If your vehicle has any of these issues or accessories, we recommend caution when using our wash process.

Through a thorough interview process of car wash customers, it was apparent there was demand for a fast, high quality carwash. Grand Wash Auto uses a computerised tyre application and process that cleans wheels and shines your tyres. This process removes dirt, brake dust and road grime and brightens the walls of your tyres. Grand Wash Auto does not use corrosive or acid chemicals and only soft cloth material so your alloy wheels are perfectly safe.

Grand Wash Auto uses a conveyor that keeps cars moving even if there are a few cars in line. The entire wash cycle lasts no longer than THREE MINUTES and since there is no waiting for the car in front of you to finish, you will rarely spend more than five minutes from the time you pull in to when you are back on your way.

Yes… The 15 self serve under cover vacuums at Grand Wash Auto are FREE with every wash.  They are subject to availability during busy times and we ask that customers stick to a 10 minute time limit.

At Grand Wash Auto we use powerful “dryers” or “blowers” at the end of the wash cycle to remove most of the water used to rinse the car in the car wash. There will, however, always be some amount of water left on the car. Because we use a Spot Free Rinse comprised of pure water from our Reverse Osmosis filtration system, any remaining water left on the car will dry within minutes without leaving spots on your car.
